摘要: Despite their highly electropositive character and almost universally divalent metal centers, the coordination organometallic compounds of alkaline-earth (group 2) elements (beryllium to barium) display remarkable diversity. A variety synthetic methods can be used produce them, from direct oxidation metals ligand-exchange reactions. The change in radius Be 2 + Ba is nearly sixfold, there a correspondingly large range numbers structural types known – monomers three-dimensional polymers.
