摘要: Abstract Background Safe patient handling legislation has been enacted in 11 states the United States to protect healthcare workers from handing injuries. Implementations and outcomes may vary across hospitals by characteristics of institution. Objectives This study was investigate changes safe programs hospitals, nurses’ perceptions, work practices, musculoskeletal symptoms hospital after passage California's legislation. Design Repeated cross-sectional surveys. Settings Two statewide surveys registered nurses were conducted California, where a law became effective 2012. Random samples selected lists California Board Registered Nurses (2000 2013 3000 2016).
