摘要: ▪ Abstract The galaxies of the Local Group serve as important laboratories for understanding physics massive stars. Here I discuss what is involved in identifying various kinds stars nearby galaxies: hydrogen-burning O-type and their evolved He-burning evolutionary descendants, luminous blue variables, red supergiants, Wolf-Rayet Primarily review our knowledge star population has taught us about stellar evolution formation. show that current generation models do well at matching some observed features provide a look sort new observational data will benchmark against which can be evaluated.
