摘要: Abstract Chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain is a common dose-limiting side effect of anticancerdrugs but lacks an effective treatment strategy. Scolopendra subspinipes has been used in traditional medicine to treat chronic neuronal diseases. Moreover, pharmacopuncture with S (SSP) produces potent analgesia humans and experimental animals. In this study, we examined the SSP into ST36 acupoint on oxaliplatin-induced mechanical allodynia mice. Acupoint (0.5%/20 μL) significantly decreased produced by single oxaliplatin injection (10mg/kg i.p.), which was completely prevented preinjection lidocaine. Intrathecal yohimbine (25 μg/5 μL), α2-adrenoceptor antagonist, anti-allodynic SSP. contrast, high dose (0.1mg/kg i.p.) ofclonidine,an agonist, suppressed butproduced severe effects including hypotension, bradycardia, motor impairment. The combination lower clonidine (0.03 mg/kg) comparable analgesic without effects. Collectively, our findings demonstrate that via conduction at activation spinal α2-adrenoceptors. acombination low-dose represents novel safe therapeutic strategy for chemotherapy-induced pain. Perspective can relieve allodynia. potentiates clonidine-induced anti-allodynia, allowing no significant might provide management peripheral neuropathy.
