摘要: Minerals and energy have been highly intertwined throughout history, but are becoming even more so with two key emerging trends: the gradual declining grade increasing depth complexity of ores demand for high-performance functional materials in technologies. This paper examines these trends from perspective eco-design, focusing on competing requirements producing processing minerals One element examined is recycling – its impact supply opposing implications miniaturisation recyclability Peak addressed conjunction nonconventional resources such as deep ocean deposits.
