摘要: The vibrationally resolved, 488 nm anion photoelectron spectrum of aluminum trimer displays transitions from two electronic states Al3− to four Al3. Franck–Condon analyses the spectra in independent harmonic oscillator, parallel mode approximation provide information concerning equilibrium bond length and angle differences among observed states. electron affinity Al3 is measured be 1.916±0.004 eV. In X A21′ ground state, fundamental symmetric stretching (ν1) bending (ν2) vibrational frequencies are 357±10 240±10 cm−1. X A11′ these values 365±15 257±15 cm−1, lengths same as those within 0.02 A. transition between only weak activity mode, consistent with essentially D3h structures for both An excited B32 state at 0.409±0.004 eV (T0) has 330±20 200±10 cm−1 (ν2).
