Study of degradation of polyphosphates in aqueous solution

摘要: Cyclic trimetaphosphate is formed along with monophosphate and some di- triphosphate on the degradation of chainlike polyphosphates in aqueous solution at pH 8 60°C. This catalytically accelerated by many metal salts. The kinetic examination reaction presence selected salts shows that its catalytic effect closely connected ion exchange capacity polyphosphates. higher affinity a cation to polyphosphate, i.e., stronger it bound, activity. increases order K < Na Li Ba Sr Ca Mg Al. From kinetics follows, contrary our previous investigations, does not occur only from chain end but statistically over whole polymer molecule formation monophosphate. A new scheme for cyclic developed. According this primary step consists an intramolecular “phosphorylation” which then followed hydrolysis trimetaphosphate.
