摘要: Abstract Behavior can account for significant differences in building energy use. Monitoring and reporting of use may induce occupants to conserve energy. The goal this study was assess the behavioral impact providing with personal electricity utilization data contextualized different social frames reference. We installed monitoring equipment on electrical meters 83 rooms a six-floor residential dormitory formulated three groups control group from occupants. One provided their own use, second average occupant utilization, third both peer network building. only that significantly reduced when compared could view utilization. All exhibited response–relapse patterns after viewing consumption raising important questions about sustainability conservation efforts.
