摘要: Mat consolidation behavior was investigated at various press closing times (PCTs) using hinoki (Japanese cypress) particle mats. The temperature in the core layer of mat, pressure, and platen distance were measured. At plateau stage during hot pressing, decreased with increasing PCT. did not increase before equaled target board thickness PCT range 4–50 s rose slightly when exceeded 100s. There a linear relation between logarithm maximum pressure. density profile across strongly affected by As increased, position peak (PD) moved toward as PD itself decreased. effect on expansion (LE) is discussed to profile. no difference LE after high relative humidity treatment 4–50s. appeared be related low precured region surface. drying around −0.1%, swelling treatments increased
