摘要: Renewable energy sources are fast emerging as more reliable supplement of conventional sources. Among the various renewable sources, solar is most sought after in today’s world. Solar PV modules when installed outdoor environments suffer from factors which generally unaccounted laboratory testing. Energy generation collectors primarily dependent on amount incident radiation their surfaces. Soiling known to reduce transmittance rays cell and cause significant output power degradation. closely associated with such module tilt angle, site-specific climate, exposure period, humidity, wind speed, dust characteristics material properties. This experimental work aimed study losses encountered by corresponding The results show an alarming reduction high 69.06% over dry period experiencing no rain. dusty decreases 29.76% compared cleaned daily basis. Dust deposition density accounted 9.6711 g/m2 period.
