摘要: Abstract The formation of (ZrNi) 100− x Mo metallic glasses was predicated by thermodynamic calculation. It is found that the could be formed in composition range 0–64 at.% Mo, and minor addition facilitate glasses. To verify prediction, ion beam mixing experiments were carried out. results showed no unique amorphous phase would when higher than 60 at.%, indicating prediction reasonable. Besides, possible mechanisms these metastable phases discussed terms competition atomic collision theory.
