摘要: Although the skin is one of main defense barriers fish to date, very little known about immune implications and properties numerous substances present in cells. In study, terminal carbohydrate composition some components immunity (total IgM level, several enzymatic bacteriostatic activities) on aqueous organic epidermal extracts European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) were determined. Most parameters measured followed a protein concentration dose-response. Curiously, both have similar levels total IgM. However, showed higher presence carbohydrates, alkaline phosphatase esterase activities lower proteases ceruloplasmin than extracts. Regarding activity, growth all bacterial strains tested was reduced when cultivated extracts, being observed reduction correlated extract sample. On contrary, no significant effect or even allow bacteria overgrow, suggesting that could use as nutrient source. The results are discussed compared with same studied mucus order understand their possible mucosal immunity.
