摘要: Health economics examines both the costs of care (economic burden) as well potential savings disease/treatment avoidance. The objectives this chapter are to first examine current epidemiological data that describe health status adults and economic burden disease; second, review for disease/adverse event prevention associated with consumption healthy diets/nutritional interventions in developed developing nations, finally, look at cost-effectiveness preventive nutrition strategies relevant populations. major diseases/conditions examined include obesity, nutritionally related adverse pregnancy outcomes, cardiovascular cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, age-related blindness, osteoporosis. Our goal is document totality consistency then attempt quantify could be seen once put place.
