摘要: To learn more about the leaching characteristics of simple copper ore concentrates, behavior cupric sulfide (CuS) and cuprous (Cu2S) was studied. These compounds serve as model for covellite chalcocite, respectively. With aqueous saline chloride solutions above 100 °C, dissolution both is rapid, but does not proceed to completion on a stoichiometric basis. The course can be explained with solution based thermodynamic considerations recognition certain side reactions. consideration complexes formed by various ionic species in their effect observed extent reaction near equilibrium. process found enhanced elevated temperatures, high concentrations, acidity. Limited leach times also were advantageous. At dilute reactions could driven closer than higher predicted model. For reasons, it desirable convert all (II) (I). Routes accomplishing this are reviewed.
