摘要: A 20-year-old woman with Down syndrome (trisomy 21) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia presented severe respiratory compromise secondary to bilateral chylothorax as a result of central venous thrombosis extensive upper-limb deep thrombosis. The was successfully managed by catheter-directed thrombolysis angioplasty the occlusions. development likely have been multifactorial. It is recognized that there an increased incidence congenital lymphatic anomalies in syndrome, which may contributing factor this patient. This report illustrates angiographic findings, demonstrates successful vascular recanalization, discusses etiology management chylothorax. case also contribute expanding evidence support selected clinical circumstances.
