摘要: In a combined system, magnetic resonance (MR) scanner includes magnet configured to generate static field at least in MR examination region from which data are acquired. Radiation detectors detect gamma rays generated by positron-electron annihilation events positron emission tomography (PET) region. The radiation include electron multiplier elements having direction of acceleration arranged substantially parallel or anti-parallel with the field. some embodiments, is an open first and second spaced apart pole pieces disposed on opposite sides region, arrays pieces.
