摘要: Monitoring of traffic on selected routes requires little communication time, through reporting only instances abnormal speed. During a calibration phase calibrant vehicles are operated along the with sufficient frequency and for enough days to provide meaningful data. Each vehicle carries differential GPS receiver measuring location accurately. Average speeds intervals of, example, 15 seconds, stored, time place observation.
