摘要: Techniques for supporting communication over an extended range in a wireless network are disclosed. In one aspect, station sends multiple messages of given type different operating modes. These can be detected by stations with capabilities, which may avoid collisions between stations. design, first receives Request-to-Send (RTS) message from second having data to send. The Clear-to-Send (CTS) and also CTS response the RTS message. has as compared thereafter (i) sent (ii) acknowledgement range.
