摘要: Abstract In an epidemiological sample of 411 l3-year-old twins normal intelligence, both parents and teachers reported more behavioural problems among children with lower IQs. This was not attributable to the effects parental IQ or social class WAS entirely mediated by scholastic attainments. Different causal models are discussed: “rater bias” “IQ is a consequence” explanations seem less plausible than cause” maker” explanations. Higher associated emotional symptoms in child, school report There no evidence that being brighter bright (twin) sibling influenced deviance, casting doubt on importance contrast effects.
