摘要: WPC is inflammable that threatens the safety of life and property. To reduce risk conflagration, it important to make flame retardant. But retarded usually highly loaded which deteriorates its mechanical properties. It difficult satisfy both sides. In this article, we attempt prepare polyethylene/wood flour (WF) composites with high properties by using an ammonium polyphosphate phosphorus based intumescent retardants (IFR) system. maintain performances composites, multi-monomer graft copolymers are synergistically used as interfacial compatibilizers for composites. Cone calorimeter testing, UL94 tests, limited oxygen index (LOI) thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) evaluate flammability thermal stability Results show WF enhances retardancy help suitable IFR The coordination content effective measure control fire spreading combustion. incorporation transforms role from material into charring agent By system, a composite V0 classification on vertical combustion testing was successfully prepared. With synergistic compatibilizers, possible intumescable rPE/WF performances. WF, can improve POLYM. COMPOS., 2016. © 2016 Society Plastics Engineers
