摘要: Abstract Specific heats of several specimens copper alloyed with from 0.14 to 10 wt.% mangan ese were measured at liquid helium temperatures; and for some the specimens, measurements extended 15°K. All exhibit an anomalously large specific heat compared pure copper, which excess is associated magnetic transition known occur in these alloys low temperatures. The entropy anomaly indicates a spin on manganese atoms about 2; but number reasons this cannot be established accurately. shape different any well-known theoretical forms, e.g. Schottky or λ-point types. At lowest temperatures linear T essentially independent Mn concentration entire range composition studied.
