摘要: Purpose of review As the evidence supporting notion that regional anesthesia improves patient outcomes grows, utilization techniques has similarly increased. Best care should not be restricted by background providers, however, replicating benefits when it is delivered nonanesthesiologists unclear. In this review, provision discussed so readers can come to their own conclusions. Recent findings Regional procedures are performed nonanesthesiology physicians such as emergency physicians, critical specialists, and surgeons. Patients benefit from these groups, but inconsistencies exist in training, service provision, collaboration between specialties anesthesiologists. Nonphysician providers also provide anesthesia. There limited data on or nonphysician-provided service, consideration team-based alternative models based upon geographical need worthwhile. Summary The requires accumulation a suitable knowledge, skills, behaviors taught.
