摘要: Publisher Summary The chapter presents the survey of current activities in computer-assisted instruction (CAI). Some examples CAI at stage research and development for elementary secondary schools some commercial products that are fairly widely distributed considered this chapter. PLATO projects reading mathematics examined. Commercial courses now offered by Computer Curriculum Corporation surveyed. salient universities, community colleges, or other postsecondary institutions examined to provide a sense conceptual variety work. explores main areas most significant CAI; first concerns natural language processing; second, use audio; third, informal mathematical procedures; fourth, efforts modeling student. concludes with brief attempt forecast trends instruction, although, course, forecasts must be treated skepticism view notorious difficulty making successful predictions about either computer theory applications.
