摘要: The formation of TiN during ball milling Ti metal in air has been investigated by XRD, laser raman microscopy/spectroscopy, and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. results cannot be readily explained a conventional gas - reaction mechanism. Instead, new model is proposed solid solution pumping which involves absorption into the -Ti phase thermal spike induced collisions, retention absorbed nitrogen after rapid quench, homogenous nucleation TiN, growth at expense nitrided -Ti, due to additional being `pumped' bulk sequence collision events. presence Fe small amounts required either it acting as an oxygen scavenger, or substrate for dissociative chemisorption nitrogen. These are some technical interest, since they demonstrate that can synthesized ambient simple milling.
