摘要: Abstract A pale-yellow color nano pigment Bi 4 Ti 3 O 12 (BTO) with impressive infrared (IR) reflectance (R = 95%) was synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method and characterized its crystalline nature, structural property, morphology optical properties X-ray diffraction technique (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission (TEM), UV–Vis–NIR spectrophotometer. The Near (NIR) measured diffuse spectrophotometer at wavelength range of 700–2500 nm. band gap the BTO increases from 2.74 to 3.05 eV by increasing calcination temperature 600 °C 800 °C. For comparison study, IR property thermal performance compared conventional reflective white TiO 2 . shows higher NIR better than pigment. potential application as “cool pigment” also demonstrated coating on steel substrate for energy saving application.
