摘要: Abstract Nanometric-sized gadolinia (Gd 2 O 3 ) powders were obtained by applying solid-state displacement reaction at room temperature and low calcination. The XRD analysis revealed that the product was gadolinium hydroxide, Gd(OH) . In order to induce crystallization of Gd , subsequent calcination 600 ∼ 1200 °C products studied. Calculation average crystallite size ( D as well separation effect strain nanocrystals performed on basic Williamson-Hall plots. morphologies calcined different temperatures followed scanning electron microscopy. pure cubic phase made 600 °C which converted monoclinic between 1400° 1600 °C. High-density (96% theoretical density) ceramic pellet free any additives after pressureless sintering 1600 °C for 4 h in air, using powder 600 °C.
