摘要: The current study aimed to contribute the identification of potential intervention programs for dyslexia by comparing effects one commercial program, Cellfield intervention, to those a placebo program in adolescents with reading and/or spelling difficulties. The Cellfield is comprehensive computer-based approach treating dyslexia, which involves visual, phonological, and visual-to-phonological exercises. efficacy the intervention was assessed using behavioural (reading, measures and reaction time accuracy) electrophysiological (P2, N4, LPC components the ERP) indicators change. Twelve students (aged between 12 14 years) identified as experiencing difficulties participated, seven completing the Cellfield five program. All participants completed a variety literacy tests phonological lexical decision tasks an incongruent sentence ending task during which event-related potentials (ERPs) were recorded. All administered before immediately after completion Cellfield intervention respectively. Both groups then engaged follow-on practice for three weeks, focusing on training fluency, comprehension, spelling. Outcome again follow-on training. group, but not Placebo showed significant decrease overall risk for dyslexia improvement decoding skills from pre- post-test. These gains maintained at follow-up group. Higher-order skills, including text accuracy, fluency did not change significantly following intervention. However, three-week follow-on practice, improved text reading comprehension accuracy follow-up-test. Spelling remained unaffected either or practice. Results ERP studies less conclusive. For all experimental tasks, neither reaction nor latency data discriminated two over time. Amplitude data indicated some neural changes within who demonstrated decreased amplitudes right hemisphere (LPC), increased left hemisphere (N4) pre-, post, follow-uptest compared group. Increased lateralised processing its relationship to normal language are discussed. Overall, suggest beneficial effects of Neural due tentative and need further investigation.
