摘要: The toluene degradative transposon Tn4651 is included within another transposon, Tn4653, and both of these elements are members the Tn3 family. tnpA gene product each element mediates formation cointegrates as intermediate products transposition, tnpS tnpT encoded by take part in resolution Tn4651- Tn4653-mediated cointegrates. Sequence analysis demonstrated that Tn4653 have 46- 38-base-pair terminal inverted repeats, respectively, generate 5-base-pair duplication target sequence upon transposition. Complementation tests Tn4653-encoded transposition functions with those Tn3, Tn21, Tn1721 showed (i) trans-acting were not interchangeable four other transposons, (ii) function was function, (iii) coded for a resolvase (tnpR product) complemented tnpR mutations Tn21 Tn1721. located just 5' upstream shared extensive homology gene. res region adjacent to gene, indicated failure resolve ascribed an incomplete structure region.
