摘要: This article presents quantative survey data on Lithuanian teachers (N = 961). The geography of this includes almost all country’s adminis­trative units, and its are approaching the re­quirements a representative survey. Concepts empirical research traditions in terms related to work stress occupational burnout research, as well lifestyle, leisure, hobby studies. answer was sought ques­tion, whether (especially that high levels physical activity) has an influence mitigation symptoms. A one-dimensional psychometric scale set up measure dependent variable (occupational burnout), which consists 39 primary indicators is characterized by very reliability per­formance. study shown possessing hobby, regardless connection with activity, significant reduc­tion Teach­ers who have regularly engaged it significantly less expressed symptoms than those no hobbies at all, or do but little involved en­gaged rarely. names further directions relevant researches. It focuses discussion recommendations: a) develop educational environments higher education, would allow form for future specialists, b) recreational infrastructure universities schools socially responsible organizations, c) give status public value teachers’ leisure organization support activity.
