摘要: Body positive content on social media aims to challenge mainstream beauty ideals and encourage acceptance appreciation of all body types. The present study aimed investigate the effect viewing Instagram posts young women's mood image. Participants were 195 women (18-30 years old) who randomly allocated view either positive, thin-ideal, or appearance-neutral posts. Results showed that brief exposure was associated with improvements in mood, satisfaction appreciation, relative thin-ideal Additionally, both increased self-objectification Finally, participants favourable attitudes towards accounts majority being willing follow them future. It concluded may offer a fruitful avenue for improving image, although further research is necessary fully understand effects self-objectification.
