摘要: Cold tolerance is an important prerequisite for successful winter sowing of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.). In the Mediterranean region, will increase productivity compared with same crop sown traditionally in spring. search germplasm possessing a higher level to cold than cultivated species, 137 lines eight wild annual Cicer species were evaluated during 1987-1988 and 1988-1989 seasons at International Center Agricultural Research Dry Areas (ICARDA), Syria. Both effective screening against cold, as susceptible indicator was killed by spells each year. Most C. bijugum K.H. Rech., echinosperum P.H. Davis, reticulatum Ladiz. tolerant had significantly levels species. All chorassanicum (Bunge) M. Popov, cuneatum Hochst. ex Rich., yamashitae Kitamura, all but one line judaicum Boiss., susceptible. Lines pinnatifidum Jaub. & Spach showed both reactions. Joint contribution from ICARDA ICRISAT (Int. Crops Res. Inst. Semi-Arid Tropics), Patancheru P.O., A.P. 502 324, India.
