摘要: Abstract Though most of the organic components phytoplankton are susceptible to being photodegraded during senescence, until recent years there has been very little research in this area. Recently, however, have a renewal interest, and heterogeneous visible light-induced degradative reactions lipidic compounds associated with phytodetritus studied. The present paper reviews results obtained course these studies. In first part, production quenching excited states chlorophyll toxic oxygen species (singlet oxygen, superoxide ion, hydroxyl radical hydrogen peroxide) healthy senescent phytoplanktonic cells discussed. Then, photo-oxidation main cell (chlorophyll, phytyl chain, carotenoids, sterols, unsaturated fatty acids, alkenones alkenes) is examined. Emphasis given degradation rates mechanisms structure photoproducts formed. each case, selectivity discussed order select “pool” able act as tracers photo-oxidative alterations marine medium. This could provide useful information concerning physiological state communities current environmental problems related ozone depletion.
