摘要: Abstract We describe the α prescription of Shakura and Sunyaev discuss constraints placed on it by observable phenomena in time varying discs. explain why hydrodynamic turbulence alone cannot be source viscosity introduction a weak magnetic field changes this so that magnetohydrodynamic is effective. recent numerical simulations suggest MHD might drop to zero during dwarf-nova quiescence consider consequences for outbursts. speculate part played secondary star's own field.
