摘要: The main objective of this paper is the presentation modelling solutions of floating devices that can be used for harnessing energy from ocean currents. It has been structured into three parts. First, growing current interest in marine renewable general, and in extracting currents particular, presented, showing large number are emerging and some most significant types. GESMEY generator presented second section. It based on a new concept has patented by Universidad Politecnica de Madrid which is currently being developed through collaborative agreement with SOERMAR Foundation. feature operation fully submerged, no other facilities required to move floating state for maintenance, which greatly increases its performance. Third part article devoted present simulation challenges arise development of marine currents, along have adopted within the frame Project, making particular emphasis dynamics of the control.
