First Results on γ-Ray Spectroscopy in the Second Minimum of 238U and 240Pu

摘要: γ-transitions preceding the fission decay of shape isomers in 238U and 240Pu have been measured with crystal ball. Lines at 616 keV 808 are observed 240Pu, respectively, which tentatively interpreted as deexcitations β-vibrational band second minimum.
