摘要: Current reconstructive techniques for continuity defects of the mandible include use free flaps, bone grafts, and alloplastic materials. New methods regenerative medicine designed to restore tissues depend mainly on so-called extrinsic neovascularization, where neovascular bed originates from periphery construct. This method is not applicable large in irradiated fields. We are introducing a new animal model mandibular reconstruction using intrinsic axial vascularization by Arterio-Venous (AV) loop. In order test this model, we made cadaveric, mechanical loading, surgical pilot studies adult male goats. The cadaveric study aimed at defining best vascular axis be used creating AV loop region. Mechanical loading (3 points bending test) were done ensure that properties significantly affected defect, put base line further testing after regeneration.
