摘要: Members of the G protein-coupled receptor kinase family play essential roles in signal turnoff for majority receptors. GRK1, first identified almost 40 years ago, and GRK7, most recently member GRK family, are retina-specific GRKs involved recovery adaptation rod cone photoreceptors vertebrate retina. This report reviews expression patterns these two kinases, as well effect their interaction with substrates binding partners. The phosphorylation GRK1 GRK7 by cAMP-dependent protein (PKA) is also discussed.
