摘要: RECENT X-ray measurements on liquid mercury–thallium alloys have given some evidence for ordering at compositions corresponding approximately to the solid-state compound Hg5Tl2 1. These results, obtained 17° C., 3° C. above melting point of Hg5Tl2, are unfortunately inconclusive due uncertainty introduced by extensive corrections necessary in analysis diffraction data. In present work, existence has been accurate determinations partial molar entropy thallium, SMTl.
