摘要: This paper describes the Mexican health system. In part one, conditions of population are discussed, with emphasis in those emerging diseases that now main causes death, both men and women: diabetes, ischaemic heart disease, cerebrovascular cancer. Part two is devoted to description basic structure system: its institutions, coverage, benefits affiliated different heath financial sources, levels protection health, availability physical, material human resources for stewardship functions displayed by Ministry Health other actors. also discusses role citizens monitorization evaluation system, as well satisfaction rendered services. three most recent innovations impact on performance system discussed.
