摘要: Abstract In order to evaluate the impact of desalination facilities on diversity and abundance zooplankton, structure zooplankton community were sampled along Israeli Levantine shallow coast in vicinity facilities. Samples collected at two sites (Hadera Ashqelon) during different seasons over a period 15 months from November 2016 January 2018. Tows conducted above bottom depths 2–28 m with both surface deeper tows day night. Results show strong seasonality taxonomic composition differences taxa groups. There were, however, no between night, tows, brine plume. Abundance estimates correspond well other recent studies regions Eastern Levantine. This study represents first quantitative survey coast.
