摘要: Mapping of the human brain is more than generation an atlas-based parcellation regions using histologic or histochemical criteria. It attempt to provide a topographically informed model structural and functional organization brain. To achieve this goal multimodal atlas detailed microscopic neurochemical structure must be registered stereotaxic reference space brain, which also serves as for topographic assignment data, e.g., magnet resonance imaging, electroencephalography, magnetoencephalography, well metabolic positron emission tomography. Although classic maps remain pioneering steps, they do not match recent concepts in many regions, suffer from methodic drawbacks. This chapter provides summary status mapping, based on approaches integrating results quantitative cyto- receptor architectonic studies with focus cerebral cortex widely used Descriptions methods observer-independent statistically testable cytoarchitectonic parcellations, multireceptor registration including concept probability toolbox neuroimaging studies, are provided.
