摘要: Abstract Our study aimed to evaluate the toxicity of 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C16min]Cl) on human cervical carcinoma (Hela) cells. We evaluated toxicity, cell viability, genotoxicity, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and apoptosis-related gene expression in Hela cells following exposure [C16min]Cl. The results indicated that [C16min]Cl inhibited growth cells, decreased induced DNA damage superoxide dismutase, glutathione content, as well increased cellular malondialdehyde level Moreover, changes transcription p53, Bax Bcl-2, suggesting p53 Bcl-2 family might have been involved cytotoxicity apoptosis by Taken together, these revealed imparts induces cells; hence, it is not a green solvent.
