摘要: ACC synthase activity was rapidly induced in mesocarp tissue of winter squash fruit by wounding, followed increases level and rate ethylene synthesis. PAL also with a similar pattern the wounded tissue. Induction both occurred almost within surface layer 1 mm thickness consisting about 11 cell layers. Treatment excised water prior to incubation largely reduced subsequent induction enzymes, which partially relieved administration N-acetyl-chitohexaose. suppressed ethylene, while not affected exogenously applied
