摘要: The environmental pollution of the Three Gorges Reservoir in China may not be desirable and has adverse effects on biodiversity human health this region. Concentrations 16 organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) were investigated 19 surface water samples collected from near dam region Reservoir. concentrations total OCPs ranged 14 to 88 ng L−1 with a geometric mean 23 ng L−1. spatial distribution indicated giant reservoir was sink for upstream as well source downstream. hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs) dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes (DDTs) 10 9.7 ng L−1, respectively. Historical use lindane DDT found primary HCHs DDTs. ratio between heptachlor its metabolic products new input occurred Among detected OCPs, cancer risks heptachlor-epoxide all above 10−4, indicating potential threat two health.
