摘要: Abstract Cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) are nanoscale cellulose produced from renewable resources with strong reinforcing potential when included in a polymer matrix. In this work, the effect of addition CNFs on properties waterborne polyvinylacetate (PVA) adhesive was investigated. Adhesive formulations different contents 1 to 10 wt.% prepared by simple mixing PVA dispersion suspension water. The viscosity increased CNFs, namely over content 5%. Shear strength wood joints at dry as well wet conditions improved inclusion. Adding 10% CNF shear about 2 folds compared neat adhesive. This strengthening explained impact brought inclusion also water resistance and strongly enhanced mechanical performance conditions, 7% content.
