摘要: A 303-MHz hyperfine transition in the ground state of 9Be+ was used as a basis frequency standard. The ions were stored Penning ion trap. Linewidths narrow 900μHz obtained. stability measured to be better than 3 x 10-12τ-1/2. inaccuracy second-order .Doppler shift reduced 5 parts 1015 by laser cooling. An apparent pressure with an unexpectedly large value discovered which limits accuracy current experiment approximately 1 part 1013.
