摘要: This study investigated the associations of breakfast skipping with obesity and health-related quality life (QOL). We also tested hypothesis that there is a dose-dependent relationship between frequency consumption prevalence obesity. cross-section used national representative sample (n=15 340) from 2005 Taiwan National Health Interview Survey. Breakfast skippers were defined as those who ate about once week or less often never breakfast. Individuals classified ‘obese’ if their body mass index was ⩾27. Health-related QOL assessed using Medical Outcome Studies 36-Item Short-Form (SF-36) Logistic regression to examine odds ratio associated 95% confidence intervals (CIs) in compared eaters. Multivariable logistic modeling adjust all risk estimates for covariates. The unadjusted 1.23 (95% CI: 1.06, 1.43). developing 1.34 1.15, 1.56) controlling age, sex, marital status, educational level, monthly income, smoking, alcohol, betel nut chewing exercise habit. Cochran–Armitage trend test revealed rate decreased increased (P=0.005). had significantly worse than eaters (P<0.001). Moreover, lower scores 5 out 8 domain SF-36, namely general health perceptions (P<0.001), vitality social functioning (P=0.036), emotional role (P<0.001) mental findings this add support potential eating prevention.
