摘要: Theoretical studies of the brain have concentrated mainly on microscopic phenomena at membrane and cellular levels. At macroscopic level, there are “gross” phenomena, e.g., some kinds epilepsy, that occur space scales which large compared to cell size time long constants associated with molecular events. Because number nerve glial cells involved (on order 1011 (Hubel, 1979)), it is difficult construct a mathematical model such by starting individual cells, connecting them into small circuits, then combining these circuits coherent for particular structure.
