Obstetric complications and risk for severe psychopathology in childhood.

摘要: The purpose of the study was to assess association obstetric complications with risk for mental disorders resulting in hospitalization before age 15. Records from all births Denmark 1973 through 1993 were linked records psychiatric hospitalizations. Diagnoses grouped into seven broad categories. A reference population 10% 1990 used comparison. Obstetric associated range occurring childhood. strongest predictors a variable indicating interaction birth weight speed growth and 5-minute Apgar score. There no diagnostic group that stood out as different respect complications. These results are consistent hypothesis continuum reproductive casualty.
