摘要: Chondroitin sulfate (CS), a type of glycosaminoglycan (GAG), is linear acidic polysaccharide comprised repeating disaccharides, modified with groups at various positions. Except for hyaluronan (HA), GAGs are covalently bound to core proteins, forming proteoglycans (PGs). With highly negative charges, interact variety physiologically active molecules, including cytokines, chemokines, and growth factors, control cell behavior during development in the progression diseases, cancer, infections, inflammation. Heparan (HS), another GAG, HA well reported as regulators leukocyte migration sites There have been many reports on regulation immune function by HS HA; however, cells CS has not yet fully understood. This article focuses regulatory antigen-presenting cells, macrophages dendritic refers CSPGs, such versican biglycan, surface proteoglycan, syndecan.
